President & CEO

Bob Koch has played golf since he was 11 years old. After graduating from the University of South Florida on a full golf scholarship, Bob advanced to the professional level, playing on the PGA Tour, Nationwide Tour, and Hogan Tour.

Shortly after, he developed and launched the original Medicus hinged club in 1989, which has since become the #1 golf swing training company in the world. Bob combined his passion for golf and his talent for product development, to focused his efforts on developing innovative tools and products to help people succeed. Medicus Kick X has gained his savvy business acumen and real life experience of launching and cultivating over five different successful companies. Under his leadership, Medicus Kick X has grown exponentially and is posed to explode. He is out to show the world what it means to KICK X!

Bob continues to play professional golf, most recently on senior US open in 2012.



Chief Operating Officer / COO

Joshua Bernheim has had an uncanny ability to visualize and streamline operations his whole life. Freshly out of high school, as an IT manager at a telemarketing company, he developed a system to correct changing telephone area codes.

From there he has successfully managed and grown multiple companies both for others and his own. For the past 10 years he has served as the business development officer of Medicus. Today he serves as COO of Medicus Kick X, where he provides leadership, management and the vision necessary to ensure that the company has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems in place as Medicus Kick X continues to grow.

He is a graduate of the University of Santa Cruz and resides in San Diego, California with his wife and children. He is an avid athlete who participates in all sorts of crazy running events.



Chief Information Officer / CIO

Daniel O’Steen has over 17 years experience as a full stack developer: web development, database, and server administration. His career began in the digital marketing start-up world as an intern.

Driven by his entrepreneur spirit, he launched two companies where he was a principle partner. He has honed his skill-set and knowledge of all aspects of delivering innovative, intuitive web applications to customers. He was asked to join the company for his business and digital savvy, ensuring Medicus Kick X is always at the forefront of data centric marketing and corporate resource management.

Daniel is a family man who enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and children. True to his craft, a laptop and cellular data connection are never too far out of reach.



Vp of Product Development

Mark Adams began his golf career with a challenge. As a left-handed golfer in the 1980s, he was faced with an overwhelming lack of quality left-handed products. Refusing to simply accept the industry’s limitations, he decided to design his own clubs launching his company, Adams Golf Limited. Later, Tommy Armour Golf asked him to join their team, where he served for eight years as the Vice President of Research & Development, managing their Tour and Custom Departments. Drawing upon his experience as both a player and a designer, Mark has regularly contributed to Golf Digest Magazine and was invited to serve on the prestigious equipment panel for Golf Digest.

Today, Mark serves as VP of Product Development working side by side with Bob Koch to develop and design thoughtful, innovative products that represent the energy, determination, and spirit of Medicus Kick X.



VP of Marketing

Kim Way joins Medicus Kick X with a robust marketing and business background spanning over 20 years in multiple industries.

She has an outstanding track record at AmeriQuest (banking), Ingram Micro (hi-tech), LG Electronics (consumer electronics), and MARCHON (fashion). Her most recent position was with The Walt Disney Company as a global business development professional where she successfully built strategic alliances. Her diverse business background reaches across multiple disciplines including digital, MARCOM, product, channel, vertical, brand, analytics, strategy, operations, business development, just to mention a few. She finds that no matter what industry, marketing is her passion.

Kim enjoys running, cooking, and spending time with her family and two furry four-legged children.



Outside General Counsel

Andria Catalano joins Medicus Kick X with nearly 20 years of experience in civil litigation with an emphasis in business and employment law. She practices in state and federal courts.

She has an entrepreneurial spirit, having become a partner in private practice three years after admission, and became the owner of her own firm five years later. She is an active member of the American Inns of Court, William Enright chapter in San Diego and has served over 10 years in Lawyers Club of San Diego chairing the Fund for Justice, which provides grants to support the advancement of women and children in the law. Andria is a annual speaker for the American Civil Liberties Union Constitution Day program at local area high schools. She holds a Juris Doctor and Masters of Studies in Environmental Law (cum laude) from Vermont Law School.

Apart from her professional activities, Andria is a member of Rady’s Children’s Hospital Auxiliary, fundraising for children’s medical needs. She is a quilter and busy mother of twins.



Director Of Public Relations

Mike Hoye brings more than two decades of experience in public relations and marketing strategy to Kick X Golf by Medicus.

Over the course of his career, he has solidified strong relationships with print, broadcast, and online media. Hoye has an extensive background in the publicity and marketing of golf equipment, luxury products, resorts, real estate and golf courses. His media relations expertise has resulted in impactive media coverage in media outlets such as Golf Digest, Golf Magazine, Golfweek, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, CNBC, CBS News and many more high-value outlets around the world. Hoye received his BA in Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations from California State University, Chico. He resides in Southern California with his wife and son.
